Why I Miss MBS Peeps?

It's not just about losing a job. It's more of missing the people I usually see everyday at MBS Leg. People who, with the passage of time, has become important part of my daily life. They are all especial to me. I've been jamming with them for years now. We drink and eat together. We watch movies together. We enjoy escapades together. We loiter anywhere. And its hard to let the days pass without missing them.

I miss the fun. I miss the drama. I miss the friendship. I miss the bond. I miss the love.

But no matter how much I wanted to see them, feel them, listen to their jokes and sentiments, It's now hard because some are far, some are busy.

Ces Drilon & Co. Set Free

Good gracious! ABS-CBN news anchor Ces Drilon and two of her companions were finally set free by the Abu Sayyaf. Just as many of the Filipinos anticipate another bloody encounter, the winds of peace prevailed.

A GMA release reads:

Of course, I am happy all of them are still alive. No bloodshed. No killing.

The notorious group is famed for ruthless and cold blooded killings. Good thing Ces and co. belong to those people who have escaped the wrath of the rebels. I hope this scenario would serve a lesson to journalists. Take safety as your primordial consideration.

But one thing bothers me more than other issues....the "No Ransom Policy."

Are you amenable that ABS-CBN and the RP government are pretty serious with their supposed No Ransom Policy? Well, I doubt it.

Do you think a notorious rebel group would kidnap a popular TV journalist for nothing? I don't think so.

Do you think ABS-CBN would allow its name to be besmirched by the repulsive killing of one of its esteemed employee? Of course not.

And do you think the government would accept the fact that it was screwed by the rebels? I think not. Outwitted that is. Iginisa sa sariling mantika, so to speak. The amassed money will soon be used to fight the government.

Ergo, the government paid to be destroyed in the end. Let's watch and see...

Who Am I by Casting Crowns

Who am I?
That the Lord of all the earth,
Would care to know my name,
Would care to feel my hurt.

Who am I?
That the bright and morning star,
Would choose to light the way,
For my ever wandering heart.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.
I am yours.

Who am I?
That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
And watch me rise again.

Who am I?
That the voice that calmed the sea,
Would call out through the rain,
And calm the storm in me.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.
I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.
I am yours.
I am yours.

Whom shall I fear?
Whom shall I fear?
'Cause I am yours.
I am yours.

Thank you Olops for this soulful song.

I Mean Psychedelic

Chaos that is. That's what I feel today. So to lighten up a bit, I decided to twist creativity..

I love photos. I love taking pictures. I love landscapes, seascapes, still life, portraits, and more. Name it. Did I just say I love pictures?

Here are some of the psychedelic photos/posters I've created thanks to the entertaining image chef features:

Talking about love...

Amor con amor se paga. Love begets love. Though loving needs no consideration, I'll be a whited sepulchre if I say I don't want my love to be reciprocated. Hell, we all want it. And we do crazy things to make that special person love us back. Oh love! How cruel errr mysterious you are.

Let me share to you a nice jurisprudence about love...

“If the two eventually fell in love, despite the disparity of their ages and academic levels, this only lends substance to the truism that the heart has reasons for its own which reason does not know.” - Chua-Qua vs. Clave, 189 SCRA 117

Love is useless unless it is shared with another.Indeed, no man is an island, the cruelest act of a partner in marriage is to say "I could not have cared less." This is so because an ungiven self is an unfulfilled self. The egoist has nothing but himself. In the natural order, it is sexual intimacy which brings spouses wholeness and oneness. Sexual intimacy is a gift and a participation in the mystery of creation. It is a function which enlivens the hope of procreation and ensures the continuation of family relations. x x x. Marital union is a two-way process. An expressive interest in each other's feelings at a time it is needed by the other can go a long way in deepening the marital relationship. Marriage is definitely not for children but for two consenting adults who view the relationship with love amor gignit amorem, respect, sacrifice and a continuing commitment to compromise, conscious of its value as a sublime social institution.” - Ching Ming Tsoi vs. Court of Appeals, 16 January 1997

See. Even magistrates have a say about love.
