Yes, AH1N1 is contagious and is spreading from one person to another. Matter of fact, it has become a pandemic here in RP. When we go to school for our review class, we have our temperature checked at the entrance. When they find out that we have a fever, they won't let us in. So inside the school, it is safe. It becomes scary when we go out and become more exposed to the virus. So what are the symptoms of swine flu?
Symptoms:
- fever
- cough and runny nose
- nausea
- body aches
- vomiting
- diarrhea
Precautionary Measures:
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you sneeze or cough. Throw the tissue after using it.
- Wash your hands often. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
- Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
- If you get sick, stay at home.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
It is pretty difficult to be sick while you are busy reviewing. Time is of the essence. Certainly, there is no time to get sick. With the AH1N1 outbreak, I become an instant Ascorbic Acid fanatic. No choice. I have to strengthen my immune system. Vit. C has become a constant companion for my Ponstan or Dolfenal.
